blog:6 i know the truth, so don't bother me with facts

The article " I know the truth, so don't bother me with facts" explains how people was influnced by rumors, and people will hardly changed their mind, even though the rumors are proved to be wrong by rebuttals. The author of the article also suggests people to think before they believe, because at least those facts do prove something for us.

I agree with the author's idea. I think our mind are essliy affected by what we always believe or we accustom to do and it reminded me that people found out the weakness of us long tieme ago. Plato wrote a story named "Alleory of the cave" told us that people live in illusions without thinking about which was truth.

In the story, there was a group of prisoners who were not able to see anything behind them and what they could see was only the shadows. When one prisoner was released, he was able to see the real world. He went back to the cave and told everyone who hadn't see the real things. No one believed him, because every one lived in the cave all believed that the reality was what they saw on the wall.

In conlusion, we live in a world filling with informations now. People need to know how to use those informations and figure out what is truth or not truth. Just like the article tells us, thinking about the truth, then decide what you are going to believe.
